Biography

After receiving a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Arizona in 2010, Atticus received his M.S. in Geographic Information Systems and Technology from the University of Arizona in 2012. While pursuing his education, Atticus worked as a research assistant at the Laboratory of Tree-Ring Research at the University of Arizona in the Dendroarchaeology and Fire Ecology Labs.  After Grad School, Atticus worked as a Geospatial Analyst at Statistical Research, Inc., a cultural resource management firm, in Tucson, Arizona.  He joined the Illinois State Water Survey at the University of Illinois in 2016.

Current Projects

Design and creation of the iCoastalDB, a database that compiles water quality data from the Lake Michigan Coastal Management Zone from different organizations to assist in modeling efforts for the Illinois Department of Natural Resources.
