Bajio Varghese Kaleeckal is a Research Scientist in the Illinois Sustainable Technology Center, at the Prairie Research Institute under the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. Bajio holds a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston. His primary research interests include scaling-up lower TRL level technologies in the field of Carbon Capture & Utilization, Wastewater treatment, Biomass, Renewable & other clean energy-based systems, and performing techno-economic assessments, life-cycle assessments, & business case analysis for emerging clean-energy technologies. He serves as a Technical Lead for Pipelines & Infrastructure, in the FEED Study, Pilot-Scale, and Demonstration scale projects at the Prairie Research Institute, sponsored by the US Department of Energy.
