Current Projects

Working for the Critical Trends Assessment Program, I monitor birds in forests, wetlands, and grasslands throughout Illinois. I also coordinate two state wide bird monitoring programs Spring Bird Count and Monitoring of Owls and Nightjars in Illinois. In addition to coordinating bird monitoring programs, I spend time managing databases, writing reports, making maps using GIS, and educating the public.

Research Biography

Research Interests

Avian research involving, but not limited to, the coordination of SBC and MOON in Illinois, and assisting with the Critical Trends Assessment Program (CTAP).  Also interested in avian community responses to actively managed versus non-managed habitats.
