Bridget Melton leads the comprehensive communications and marketing portfolio for IHSI. As a member of the IHSI leadership team, she focuses her communications expertise toward strategic planning and implementing IHSI's vision. Bridget is responsible for promoting research and faculty expertise in the health sciences, building and fostering collaborative relationships, and identifying opportunities to enhance and extend IHSI's impact. She oversees the communications team in developing promotional and informational print, digital, and media content; launching new initiatives; and engaging various audiences and stakeholders.
Prior to joining IHSI in 2017, Bridget worked for Human Kinetics Publishers in Champaign for more than 11 years. Bridget graduated from Western Illinois University with a bachelor of business degree in marketing.
