Research Biography

Current Projects

Communicate model results and use public feedback to improve the models or develop scenarios useful for water supply planning. Recent work has focused on working with communities and industries to understand risk to their water supply in the southwestern suburbs of Chicago.

Develop and apply regional and local scale groundwater flow models for Illinois.

Create new approaches to identify at-risk groundwater users, both locally and regionally.

Design a framework for automatically updating the groundwater flow models with new datasets, such as withdrawals and geologic data.
