I am interested in understanding how faults and other geologic structures affect groundwater movement and groundwater quality, particularly in the deep sandstone aquifers in northern Illinois. More broadly, I am interested in the integration of 3D geologic models and geophysical datasets (seismic surveys, airborne electromagnetic surveys ) into groundwater flow models, assessing surface water/groundwater interactions, conducting water supply planning initiatives, and visualization of groundwater data and modeling results in online GIS web applications.
