Emily Guske joined the Illinois Sustainable Technology Center (ISTC) as a Community Engagement and Outreach Specialist in September 2023. At ISTC, Emily coordinates the sustainability seminar series and works on the annual Emerging Contaminants Conference, the ISTC research and technical assistance gallery, the ISTC website, and general outreach efforts. She also assists with community benefits plans for federally funded projects. In August 2023, Emily graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with an M.S. in Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences, an M.U.P. in Urban and Regional Planning, and a graduate minor in Gender and Women’s Studies.
