Hannah Rucinski is a Senior Archaeological Collections Specialist working with the Illinois State Archaeological Survey's Curation Section. She manages and cares for ~24,000 ft2 of archaeological collections for the Illinois Department of Transportation and supervises a team of hourly staff and student workers to facilitate care. Her primary work focus is on collections rehabilitation, which includes replacing artifact housing and inventorying materials at the item level in a relational FileMaker database. Her research interests include post-contact archaeology and historic architecture, archaeological collections management, and post-contact bioarchaeology.
