Jennifer Larson's experience leading marketing organizations spans more than 30 years; 20 of those years have been in higher education. She has covered a lot of ground in her career, from developing strong brands to building impactful communication strategies to managing public relations; all of which has been underscored by effective leadership.
As marketing director at Kankakee Community College, State Farm Center, Illinois Athletics, and her work as Director of Recruitment and Admission's for graduate programs at Gies College of Business, she has set strategic marketing goals and created and implemented marketing plans to build brand awareness, increase revenue and enhance reputation. She has also developed and managed an extensive communication plan to effectively deliver impactful messaging to multiple audiences.
As Assistant Dean for Marketing Communications with the College of ACES beginning in October, 2022, she serves on the senior leadership team and is responsible for building and maintaining a state-of-the-art marketing communications department which focuses on enhancing the ACES brand.
