Prairie Research Institute

I have spent my career working with technology in application development, project management, and in management. I enjoy working with a team to create solutions that make technology more easily available to everyone regardless of technical skills. My mix of technical prowess and communication skills help me to bridge the gap that often occurs between end users and technical support.

I am currently the Associate Director for Computing and Data Services for the Prairie Research Instituteat the University of Illinois. I oversee three teams managing Desktop Support, Network and Servers, and Application Development.  I’ve spent over 20 years working in technology in Chicago, Kansas City, and Monticello, IL before returning to the area I was born in. I love to do wood working and projects around the house, which with a 150+ year old house is a constant chore.

• A part of the executive PRI Leadership team
• Member of IT Council representing PRI working with IT leaders from across the campus
• Member of the Strategy, Investment, Alignment, and Communication committee working with the campus CIO

• Member of the ATLAS Leadership team helping to manage the ATLAS direction.
• Chair of the Web Implementation Guidelines Group
• Member of the IT Professionals Forum planning committee
• Member of the IT Council Infrastructure Subcommittee
