My research focuses on coastal geomorphology and sediment dynamics in the Great Lakes, specifically along the Illinois coast of Lake Michigan, with an emphasis on how fluctuating water levels, storms, and human activities shape coastal processes. I am dedicated to bridging science and real-world application by developing best practices that support effective coastal management. I bring expertise in geospatial technologies—including RTK-GPS, sUAS (drones), single-beam sonar, and ground-penetrating radar—along with advanced proficiency in software such as Agisoft Metashape, ArcGIS/ArcPro, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite. In my research group, I serve as the drone operations manager, providing valuable expertise on mission planning, data acquisition, and compliance with FAA regulations to ensure safe and effective sUAS operations.
