Biography

Dr. Brennan is the Section Head of Curation and an Associate Research Scientist with the Illinois State Archaeological Survey, where she manages a large team charged with the management and care of ~30,000 ft2 of archaeological collections for the Illinois Department of Transportation and the University of Illinois. She also teaches intensive excavation-to-curation field schools for the Institute for Field Research. Her specializations outside of curation include the late pre-contact cultures of southern Illinois and southeast Missouri and analyses of ceramics, architecture, and community structure within that region.
